Kicki Hansard

Founder & CEO


Kicki Hansard is an author, doula, and educator with a passion to support and encourage everyone around her to claim their own power by making informed choices and owning their experiences through all phases of life. She has been training doulas for nearly two decades and she also created the popular illustration, Kicki Hansard’s Path to Birth.

Kicki has an extensive network of connections in the birthing world and has worked and trained with all the members on The Doula Association’s Professional Panel. She is the author of two books, The Secrets of Birth and Supporting Survivors of Sexual Abuse Through Pregnancy and Childbirth: A Guide for Midwives, Doulas and Other Healthcare Professionals.

Kicki has landed coverage in print and broadcast outlets and in addition to her extensive knowledge around birth and parenting experience, she is also a Professional Relaxation Therapist and a When Survivors Give Birth Educator. 

Kicki holds a BSc in Social Sciences from the Open University.
