Doula Training

Our Training

Birth and postnatal doula training is offered by The BirthBliss Academy, and membership of The Doula Association requires that you have completed a doula training course with them or completed a conversion workshop. The BirthBliss Academy is part of The Doula Association Network.

Birth and postnatal doula course

The BirthBliss Academy has a well established Aspiring Doula Foundation course. This training course is the start of the journey of becoming an BirthBliss Academy Accredited Doula.

In person courses take place in the UK throughout the year and there are also the option of a virtual on-line course. Forthcoming training and booking details are listed on The BirthBliss Academy website so please look there for more information.

Doula workshops

The BirthBliss Academy offers a number of workshops and additional training opportunities for doulas and birth workers.

Upcoming workshops and training can be found on The BirthBliss Academy website so please have a look there for more information.

Accreditation Programme

The BirthBliss Academy has their own accreditation programme and we really want this to be a straight-forward and transparent process for all the doulas that choose to sign up to it. This means that there is a way to stay with The BirthBliss Academy from the very beginning of your doula journey until you have reached the level of becoming an Accredited Doula.
